On February 11, NPO Seibo celebrated the 10th anniversary of our partner organization in Malawi, Seibo Maria Malawi!

February 11 is a truly special day for us. It marks the very first time school meals were served in the Chilomoni area of Blantyre, in southern Malawi.

Today, NPO Seibo has expanded its activities in Japan as well, and thanks to the generous support of many people, we have grown to deliver 20,000 school meals every day in Malawi.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary, we also prepared and tasted Likuni Phala—the nutritious porridge served as school meals in Malawi—at our Tokyo office.
Also, Tokyo Kasei Gakuin Junior High School and Seisa High school cooked Phala and tried it!

As a bridge connecting Malawi and Japan, NPO Seibo will continue working with dedication and gratitude.
