Lecture at Yokkaichi University
Date:2025.10.16

NPO Seibo held a lecture at Yokkaichi University.
During the upcoming school festival on October 25th, the organization will also collaborate with local high school students to sell coffee, tea, and chocolate.

The class was conducted entirely without slides or visual materials and lasted 90 minutes.
In a small seminar-style setting, students of various nationalities actively participated in discussions in both English and Japanese, comparing the social situations of Africa, West Asia, and Southeast Asia. They explored the case of Malawi in depth—learning about the coffee supply chain, its historical background, and the economic manipulation of prices.

In the final part of the session, students reflected on what kind of added value they should be mindful of when selling products themselves in Japan, deepening their understanding from their own unique perspectives.
