Kori Nevers High School and Seibo Lecture
Date:2025.05.31

On May 22, 2025, Seibo began a new class at Kori Nevers High School in Osaka Prefecture. Operated by Seibo Jogakuin Educational Institution, this school is also the alma mater of Sawako Navin, the founder of the name “Seibo” for our organization.

In this course, we plan to develop a brand that embodies the mission behind the name “Seibo,” the educational philosophy of the school, and the Catholic faith in the Virgin Mary—reflecting a pastoral vision of social engagement rooted in Catholic education.

You can learn more about Sawako Nevin’s connection to NPO Seibo through the link provided!

Through this collaboration, we hope to help shape the future of Africa—the “Mother Continent”—by supporting Malawi together. One of our goals is to empower students to take the lead in creating their own brands, engage in business with pride, and achieve tangible results.

Since this program began during the Osaka Expo in May 2025, we were also joined in the classroom by staff from Commons A, which hosts the Malawi Pavilion. It was a valuable encounter for the students.

The students later visited the Expo themselves, making the experience even more enriching. Moving forward, Seibo will continue contributing to education in Japan through a variety of programs and initiatives.
