Kansai Seibo members participated in the “Hirota Ethical Marche THINK” held in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, on Sunday, May 17th.
Under a cloudless blue sky alongside other exhibitors dedicated to ethical activities, we sold Malawian coffee, tea, and chocolate in limited quantities. In addition, we hosted our very first workshop in the Kansai region simultaneously. Participants created paper cup maracas using Malawian coffee beans and grounds, and we also held a Malawi quiz.
It turned out to be a wonderful workshop where young children joined in and got to experience a touch of Malawi.
Furthermore, we were delighted to meet visitors who had actually been to the Malawi Pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, as well as those who were already familiar with Malawi!
We also offered a scent-tasting experience of Malawian tea, and the Earl Grey was incredibly popular. Malawian Earl Grey is highly aromatic, allowing you to enjoy its rich flavor even through a second or third brewing.
Please give it a try, perhaps as iced tea! Our black tea is highly recommended as well.
You can purchase them here!
Moving forward, we will continue to raise awareness about Malawi and expand our school meal support activities for Malawian children!
We will also be posting many updates about Kansai Seibo’s activities from now on, so please stay tuned.
