Start Using RECOG from CINQSMILE
Date:2026.04.03

Seibo is excited to announce the official launch of “RECOG,” a praise-based platform operated by Cinq Smile Inc., designed to visualize internal contributions and foster a culture of appreciation within our team!
Below, we explain why Seibo decided to introduce this digital “peer-to-peer recognition” system.

Background: Building an organization that values “Transparency” and “Empathy,” even at a distance
Guided by our mission to “protect the smiles of children,” Seibo has been dedicated to providing aid in Malawi and raising awareness in Japan. As our activities have expanded, a key challenge has emerged: how to make the individual contributions of every staff member and student volunteer transparent while keeping motivation high.

Resonating with Cinq Smile’s vision of “Organizational Reform through Praise,” Seibo decided to utilize RECOG. By exchanging points and badges for everyday “thank yous,” we aim to create a system that revitalizes communication across different departments.

Shining a light on “Invisible Contributions”: Three Key Benefits

By introducing RECOG, we specifically expect the following three outcomes:

・Visualizing Contributions: Making “visible” the supportive tasks and positive behaviors that are often difficult to quantify.
・Improving Engagement: Cultivating a culture of mutual recognition to boost team productivity and psychological safety.
・Institutionalizing our Philosophy: Strengthening our core values by praising actions that align with the organization’s mission.
・Visualizing Student Projects: Providing clear visibility into the progress of various projects being carried out within the organization.

Furthermore, Cinq Smile Inc. is a valued corporate partner of Seibo. They generously donate the cost of one school meal in Malawi (15 yen) for every “smile” (praise) sent through the RECOG platform.

Moving forward, we plan to deepen our partnership with Cinq Smile and work toward spreading this culture of appreciation throughout society. By creating an environment where every individual’s “small act of kindness” is recognized, we believe our mission to support the children of Malawi will accelerate even further.
