Christmas lecture at Caritas Girls’ Junior and Senior High School
Date:2026.01.10

On December 18, 2025, Seibo delivered a Christmas lecture at Caritas Girls’ Junior and Senior High School.
For the first time, student staff members also participated in the lecture, sharing their experiences from their stay in Malawi between October and November 2025.

Mr. Yamada, the representative of Seibo, spoke about the history of Caritas within the Catholic Church—the history and significance of putting love into practice—and invited the audience to reflect on how contemporary charitable activities have inherited this tradition.

He also emphasized that the practice of Caritas is not merely a series of one-off acts. Rather, through efforts to sustain these practices over time, the work of monasteries and the activities of the Church have shaped human history. Within this broader context, he introduced organizations such as the NPO Seibo, which carries out its mission through business-oriented approaches, as well as Caritas Girls’ High School, which promotes Caritas through educational activities as a school institution.

We hope to continue expanding our activities, building on the insights and inspiration gained during this time of reflection on charity at Christmas.
