This visit began with a connection we made in Japan with an agriculture teacher who also runs a Japanese Club at the school. We stayed in touch over time, and this relationship eventually led to our visit to Kalibu Academy.

During our stay, we had the opportunity to see the school’s well-equipped ICT facilities and observe how the Japanese Club is run. We also discussed and developed plans for future collaboration and activities.

Going forward, Seibo will regularly provide online Japanese language lessons and intercultural exchange programs for students at Kalibu Academy. We plan to join classes with local children once or twice a month through online sessions.

Kalibu Academy itself offers a very unique and international style of education. On the day of our visit, we even met a family who had come from Mozambique, which highlighted the school’s diverse and global environment.

With the cooperation of students from the University of Tsukuba, we also created a special time for students to enjoy Japanese songs and cultural activities together.

We hope to continue these activities on a regular basis and to further deepen our exchange with Kalibu Academy in the future.
