Movie fans in Japan are in for a treat. From August the movie version of “The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind” is on the big screen in Japan. Based on the bestseller novel by William Kamkwamaba (recently visited Japan) it tells a compelling story. A story of Malawi. Of a boy who helps his village by building a wind turbine having discovered the idea in a library book. But it’s more than that.
What’s The Movie About?
It’s about surviving famine, the challenges facing Malawi and the will to improve. It’s also good for the soul.
For the last 3 years with your help Seibo continue to feed over 14,000 children in Malawi daily. We do this through online donations & online sales of Malawian coffee through our coffee subscription service. As such we’re delighted to share the news that cinema goers to the movie will receive a free 10gm coffee taster pack!
