Seibo participated in the Japan Coffee Culture Association to discuss the operations and impact of the activities of the Seibo General Incorporated Association and NPO in Malawi, connecting Malawian coffee to its distribution, market value, and its link to school meal support. Emphasis was placed on collaboration with student teams, exploring how future Japanese talent can influence coffee consumption culture and contribute to the future of coffee production regions.
During the presentation, Seibo’s representatives, Mr. Yamada, interns from overseas, and three university staff members played active roles. They shared Seibo’s current approach to school meal support and collaborations with industry partners like Ataka Tsusho. Such intergenerational and cross-industry connections aim to expand communities using coffee, creating new consumption cultures and social impacts.
