We are thrilled to announce a special coffee meetup and presentation held at N Blood Coffee Roaster, an Osaka-based micro-roaster that roasts our Malawian coffee! The event focused on coffee from both Malawi and Burundi.

During the session, we had the pleasure of sharing insights into the future of Malawian coffee, its connections with Burundi, and, of course, the unique appeal and exceptional flavor of coffee grown in Malawi.

Our relationship with N Blood Coffee Roaster began through a staff member we met at the Osaka Expo. They introduced us to key figures involved in pesticide-free cultivation, which ultimately connected us with N Blood Coffee Roaster—a passionate local team dedicated to roasting delicious, health-conscious coffee. Partnering with such a committed local roaster is a vital step for Seibo as we expand our community presence and support network in Osaka.

■ How It All Started: Connected Through the Expo!

The initial connection between Seibo and N Blood Coffee Roaster was sparked at an “After Expo” event in Osaka. N Blood Coffee Roaster had long been interested in Seibo’s mission of supporting Malawi through coffee.

Following that first meeting, we co-hosted a talk event at their roastery to share more about the current situation in Malawi and our relief efforts. Their strong resonance with Seibo’s core philosophy and dedication to the local communities in Africa ultimately paved the way for this meaningful partnership.

■ Looking Ahead: Rooted Locally, Impacting Globally
This collaboration represents a significant piece of our Expo “legacy.” By working closely with a skilled micro-roaster in Osaka, we can deliver carefully crafted, delicious coffee to people in the local community.

We aim to create a new model of charitable support—one that takes deep root locally while making a global impact. With every cup enjoyed in Japan, support reaches across the ocean to fund school meals and create vital job opportunities in Malawi.
