In Malawi we hold regular meetings with our Nursery School & CBCC Partners. On the 4th February 2022, a meeting was held for 18 Chilomoni area Nursery Directors with a similar meeting held on the 11th of February for rural-based CBCCs, attended by 30 people. The meetings focused on standard operating procedures, including school feeding ‘refresher’ training. The main areas covered were; stock management, food preparation & hygiene, stove handling & maintenance, data recording and communication.
At the meetings we also distributed ‘Covid Start-Up’ packs which included facemasks, aprons, kitchen mittens as well as bars of hand-washing soap. We take this opportunity to thank our donors for being with us on this journey to bring school meals to the poorest of the poor.
