Here is our activity report from Malawi for July 2026.
Thanks to your support, we were able to bring nutrition and smiles to many children again this month.

・Support Results for July 2026: Total Meals Provided: 339,426 meals
・Number of Children Supported: 20,863 children
・Mzimba District (North): 294,313 meals (86.7% of total)
・Blantyre District (South): 45,113 meals (13.3% of total)

July Highlights
1. School Meals Started at 4 New Community-Based Childcare Centres (CBCCs)!
Starting in July, our school feeding program began at four new Community-Based Childcare Centres (CBCCs): Chigwaja, Misenza, Ntula, and Namitalala.

Previously, some children stayed at home because the centres struggled to provide regular meals due to ingredient shortages. With the introduction of “Likuni Phala,” a highly nutritious porridge, an environment is being established where children can attend school healthily and regularly.

2. “Sustainable Feeding Programs” Built by the Hands of the Local Community

At Seibo, we don’t just deliver food; we support local communities so they can run the programs themselves.
To mark the launch of the meals this month, we conducted training sessions for parents, caregivers, school feeding committees, and village leaders.

Together, we learned how to use stoves, manage cooking utensils, and follow cooking procedures that preserve nutritional value, setting up a collaborative structure to provide meals while carefully managing supplies.

3. Building Trust and Clarifying Roles with the Community
At Chigwaja CBCC, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Seibo and the centre.
In the presence of local leaders, social welfare officers, and partner organizations, we clarified respective roles and responsibilities, pledging as a whole community to nurture the children together.

4. Satisfying Hunger and Learning in School
School meals continued to be provided across primary schools, allowing children to focus on their classes and activities without the distraction of hunger.

Additionally, Future Leaders Nursery held a successful graduation ceremony, where children took flight toward primary school filled with growth and confidence.

This community-driven initiative to deliver meals step-by-step is a major stride toward enabling children to stay in school and build brighter futures.
