From April to October 2025, Seibo had the privilege of working at the Malawi Pavilion as official interpreters and pavilion staff.
To honor this milestone and carry the momentum into our future activities, we have created a special commemorative label to mark the 1st anniversary in 2026!
1st Anniversary Commemorative Label: Design Concept

This commemorative label celebrates the dedication of Seibo’s student staff at the Malawi Pavilion and our ongoing commitment to school meal support in Malawi. It represents our hope that this legacy will continue to contribute to the growth of Malawi—known as the “Warm Heart of Africa.”
① Visuals:
The powerful sun positioned in the center symbolizes the dawn of Malawi and the bright future of children shining through the support they receive.
② Tradition & Innovation:
The design blends traditional African geometric patterns with the vibrant energy of the Kansai region, expressing a bond that transcends geographical distance.
③ Symbol of Legacy:
The “Malawi × Kansai” logo at the bottom signifies that the coffee once exhibited at the pavilion continues to be a source of support today, driven by the hands of people across Japan, starting with students in Kansai.

Activity of Kansai Members and the Expanding Circle of Support

Since the closing of the Expo, our Kansai-based team has worked to ensure that the passion sparked at the pavilion stays alive and takes deep root within the local community.
Deepening Partnerships: We have expanded collaborations with schools, restaurants, and events throughout the Kansai region, establishing the “one cup of coffee equals one school meal” model as a sustainable daily business practice.
Educating the Next Generation: Through lectures at approximately 80 educational institutions, we are taking concrete action (such as on-campus sales and workshops) alongside students who became interested in international cooperation during the Expo.
Community-Based Networking: Thanks to active networking by our Kansai supporters, “visible support” based on personal connections—rather than just anonymous donations—is spreading across the region. At local children’s cafeterias (Kodomo Shokudo), initiatives that began at the Malawi Pavilion are now even reaching and supporting children right here in Kansai.
Looking Forward to the Next Year
Holding a bag of coffee with this 1st anniversary label means co-authoring the continuation of the story that began at the pavilion. All proceeds are delivered directly to Malawi to cover the cost of school meals for children!
