On October 24, 2026, Yokkaichi University hosted a charity sale of Malawian coffee and tea!
Prior to the event, we delivered a lecture to the students covering the topics below, creating an opportunity for them to engage in practical international support within their campus environment:
• How NPOs operate and sustainably enable international support
• The significance of addressing global challenges from Japan (introduced through case studies of supporting Malawi from Japan)
• The on-the-ground implementation and impact of school feeding programs
• Fundraising methods in Japan (focusing on the Malawian coffee business in partnership with supporting companies)
• Practical collaboration with Japanese students (marketing initiatives leveraging networks of high school and university students nationwide)
2026 marks our second year working alongside Yokkaichi University, and we are deeply grateful for their continued dedication and active involvement.
The sales from the event generated enough funds to provide approximately 2,000 school meals in Malawi.
Thank you so much once again for your support this year!
Through these initiatives, Seibo provides university students with hands-on experience in executing tangible international aid, generating revenues, and creating direct impact for beneficiary communities.
Starting from these activities, students go on to adapt and expand their efforts independently—deepening their research, developing advanced marketing strategies, and analyzing global issues.
