On September 25, 2025, Seibo held a special presentation at Lakeland University.
This hybrid session—both online and in-person—was a collaborative effort between Seibo staff and our partner company, Mobal. It was our first joint presentation in a while, and it was a wonderful opportunity to share our ongoing mission together.
As of 2025, 100% of Mobal’s product profits are directed to charity. We are truly grateful and excited to continue expanding our shared support for Malawi through this partnership.
Mobal and Charity
Mobal, originally founded in the UK, continues to make a significant social impact in both Japan and Malawi. The company’s revenue supports charitable organizations such as the Krizevac Project and Seibo Malawi, contributing to education, employment, and welfare initiatives that empower local communities toward self-reliance.
Seibo Maria is our partner organization in Malawi, where NPO Seibo provides school meal support. Through Mobal’s global network, we are able to connect efforts between Japan and Malawi, creating a bridge of solidarity and shared purpose.
During this joint presentation, we also introduced a range of charity-linked products, including coffee, tea, and chocolate from Malawi. These items tell the story of how everyday purchases can make a difference—a concept known as “Social Buying.”
We were delighted to see so many participants resonate with this idea and take an interest in supporting Malawi through mindful consumption!
