On February 9, Seibo was interviewed as part of the “Posutabi” program at Tokyo Kasei Gakuin Junior High School.

“Posutabi” is a project in which students interview local organizations and companies, create posters based on the interviews, present them, and then give presentations using those posters.

Since the school is located in Chiyoda Ward, three university students from Sophia University—where many of Seibo’s student volunteers study—were interviewed.

Although it was an exchange between junior high school and university students, it was a very warm and friendly experience.

During the interview, student staff members who had traveled to Malawi led a quiz to introduce Malawi. The program also included a hands-on experience of cooking and tasting an actual Malawian school lunch, Likuni Phala, which appeared in the quiz.

We hope that this experience will continue to support the junior high school students’ learning and contribute to their future aspirations.
