Seibo has recently joined the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) and participated in the Green Ireland Festival held on March 14–15.
Over the two days, approximately 300 visitors enjoyed coffee from Malawi. In addition, through product purchases and donations, we were able to contribute the equivalent of around 9,000 school meals.
We sincerely thank everyone for their support.
On the day of the event, volunteers from several high schools and university students joined us, creating many opportunities for neaningful connection.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Seibo, and coincidentally, the Ireland Festival also celebrated its 10th anniversary.
While Malawi does not have a direct connection with Ireland, there is a historical link through the introduction of Irish potatoes in Malawi, which helped alleviate hunger.
By serving Malawian coffee, we aimed to communicate the importance of school meal support in Malawi.
Ireland itself experienced the Great Famine in the past and later overcame hardship with support, including aid from Native American communities in the United States.
Through sharing these stories, we hope to continue highlighting the importance of international charity and solidarity.
