We are deeply grateful to the students of Fukuyama Akenohoshi Girls’ Junior and Senior High School, who took part in the sales of Malawian coffee.

It is truly an honor that, through their efforts, the unique flavors of Malawi have reached Hiroshima Prefecture, while also helping to share Catholic values and raise awareness of charity activities.

In preparation for this initiative, we held several online meetings and in-person lessons with the students, which eventually led to this wonderful activity.

We have received feedback from many people saying the coffee was delicious, along with voices of gratitude for making it available. Not only those who purchase and drink the coffee but also those who take part in selling it have gained valuable learning experiences, creativity, and joy. This is one of the most beautiful aspects of social business: through such activities, happiness is shared and extended to support the growth of children overseas.

We look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration with the students in the future.
