Following its recognition at the Shinjuku Eco-One Grand Prix, NPO Seibo held an exhibition at Eco Gallery Shinjuku.
The event welcomed many visitors, including parents and community members from Shinjuku Ward and beyond, providing an opportunity to share Seibo’s school meal support activities for children in Malawi.
The exhibition featured photos and videos showing school meal scenes and the smiles of children in Malawi, along with an introduction to workshops Seibo conducts with Japanese elementary school students.
Through these workshops, children learn how their daily lives are connected to distant countries through coffee and tea, and experience what it means to support both people and the environment in an “eco-friendly” way.
A special section also invited visitors to enjoy coffee and tea while discovering simple eco ideas—such as reusing coffee grounds and understanding how choosing fair trade products contributes to sustainability.
Through this exhibition, NPO Seibo was able to convey how environmentally conscious choices can directly support the future of children in Malawi.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited and supported this meaningful event.
