Seibo officially joined the Yumeshima New Industry and City Creation Organization
Date:2026.05.01

In April 2026, Seibo officially joined the Yumeshima New Industry and City Creation Organization as a special member. This organization aims to foster new industries following the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.
This partnership is designed to leverage our experience and insights gained as the official operational partner of the Malawi Pavilion at the 2025 Expo, applying them to solve next-generation social issues.

■ Achievements and Insights from the Expo

During the Expo, Seibo carried out the following roles:

Diplomatic Support:
Provided accompanying interpretation for the Malawi Minister of Trade and Industry and handled liaison duties for ministerial-level meetings.

Educational Collaboration:
Facilitated pavilion operations managed by university and high school students from across Japan, fostering global talent through practical experience.

Pavilion Staffing:
Managed overall staff duties at the Malawi Pavilion, including customer service and product demonstrations.

■ Establishing the Three Pillars of “Expo Legacy”

Moving forward, we will strengthen our activities focusing on the following three areas:

1. Expanding Economic Support (Distribution of Malawian Products)
Promoting the domestic distribution of high-quality coffee and tea, which were well-received during the Expo.

2. Implementing a Circular Support Model
Expanding the “Warm Hearts Coffee Club”—where 100% of profits are dedicated to school meal support—through tie-ups with member companies of the organization, other corporate partners, and new urban development projects.

3. Continued Opportunities for Educational Co-creation
Consistently creating opportunities for students to engage in international cooperation and develop leadership skills.

■ For Sustainable Support
As of 2026, Seibo provides approximately 22,000 school meals daily in Malawi.
By maximizing the knowledge and networks gained through the Expo, we will continue our activities to create a “new model for international cooperation” from our new base in Yumeshima.
