Seibo NPO collaborated with students from Yokkaichi University to conduct a fair-trade product sales activity during the university festival, aiming to support school meal programs for children in Malawi. Students sold coffee and tea while sharing information with visitors about the situation in Malawi and the concept of fair trade.

Sales Details
-Coffee beans: 10 bags
-Drip pack coffee: 21 packs
-Earl Grey loose leaf: 1 bag
-Black tea bags: 10 packs
-Earl Grey tea bags: 20 packs

The total amount raised through sales and donations is equivalent to approximately 1,700 school meals for children in Malawi.

Activity Highlights
Through this event, students actively interacted with visitors and participated with enthusiasm and smiles. Beyond simple sales, they experienced firsthand how their actions could help support the future of children in a distant country. Visitors also commented, “I learned about Malawi for the first time,” and “It’s wonderful to see students taking such initiative.”

This activity at the university festival provided students with a practical learning opportunity in social business, while also giving the local community a chance to feel closer to international support efforts. Seibo looks forward to continuing collaboration with Yokkaichi University to provide young people with more opportunities to learn about and practice sustainable social contribution.
