Seibo had the privilege of serving coffee at the Japan Association for Self-Access Learning (JASAL) conference.
We offered coffee sourced from Malawi and Burundi, giving many educators and professors the opportunity to enjoy coffee cultivated in Africa’s rich natural environment.
The procurement costs for the coffee served during the conference directly support school meal programs in Malawi. The time spent connecting with members of the educational community in Japan has translated directly into supporting local children’s education and essential nutrition!

This translated into providing approximately 1,620 school meals in Malawi!
It was also a wonderful experience for the high school students who participated in serving the coffee, giving them valuable practice communicating in English and explaining the social impact behind the product. Supporting them along the way, Seibo’s university student staff also found the experience deeply rewarding.
