Transfer and consolidation of operations into the NPO
Date:2026.03.03

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who have supported us through donations and involvement in our activities.

In 2025, we were able to provide daily school meals to approximately 20,000 children. It was a year in which many families and entire communities were empowered and revitalized.
In Japan, we were also deeply honored to receive generous support through our Malawi coffee and tea initiatives, as many individuals contributed to our mission through the purchase of our products.

Moving forward, we will expand our offerings to include new products such as chocolate and items made from Chitenje fabric. By sharing the richness and beauty of Malawi through these products, we aim to further connect our supporters with the country and continue sustaining our school meal program locally.

Our 2025 Annual Report is available here:

Announcements for 2026
As we continue our activities, we would like to share two important updates with you.

1. Organizational Integration into an Operating NPO
Until now, product sales have been conducted through Seibo General Incorporated Association, which then donated its profits to NPO Seibo, an organization sharing the same mission. Those donated funds were subsequently transferred to Malawi.

However, for the following reasons, we have decided to consolidate these functions under NPO Seibo:

-To avoid increasing organizational complexity and simplify explanations for donors, corporate partners, and educational institutions
-To streamline the flow of donations and further strengthen transparency and trust
-To increase interest in direct donations as we work toward obtaining official certification as a Certified NPO in the future

In order to preserve the traditional NPO structure—where 100% of donations (excluding transfer fees) are allocated directly to Malawi—we previously conducted taxable business operations under the General Incorporated Association.

After careful consideration, we concluded that transitioning to a business-operating NPO model will allow us to present a more sustainable and realistic form of NPO management. We believe this evolution will deepen public understanding of our activities and strengthen the long-term continuity of our support for Malawi.

We sincerely hope for your understanding and continued support of our school meal program in Malawi.

2. Price Revision for Green Coffee Beans and Products

We would also like to inform you about changes related to our donation-based coffee initiative, Warm Hearts Coffee Club:

Due to climate change, coffee harvest volumes have declined and green bean prices have increased. As a result, we will revise our pricing for orders placed on or after April 1.
Regarding green coffee beans, after careful consultation with our trading partners, we will begin offering “Kajibajiba” from Burundi.

-Product Name: Kajibajiba
-Country of Origin: Burundi
-Processing Method: Fully Washed
(Kajibajiba is the name of the hill where the washing station is located.)

As the supply of beans from Malawi may become unstable, there is a possibility that this change will take place within this year. We wish to inform you in advance.
We deeply regret that this organizational restructuring, following last year’s changes, may cause inconvenience such as modifications to payment account details. However, this decision has been made to ensure stable and sustainable operations in the years ahead.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
