On July 23, 2025, Seibo held a session at Aoba-Japan Bilingual Preschool Waseda Campus in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku, to talk about Malawi’s natural environment and the importance of water through its lakes.

This was the second lesson for the children. Boys and girls aged one to five learned about the African continent and, through Malawi, discovered the importance of lakes as “playgrounds” for children living far away, just like them.

We also conducted a workshop to reflect on how essential water is as a resource and how it supports the future of children. Each child received a lake illustration with fish, and by circling and removing pictures of garbage hidden in the same illustration, they learned about keeping lakes clean.

We hope to continue offering meaningful workshops for children of all ages, using Malawi as a bridge for learning and connection.
