1. Mzimba District
① Machelecheta Primary School

Collaborating with the local community, Seibo Maria works to provide opportunities for children’s growth through education. Volunteers strive to ensure all children have access to necessary nutrition and educational opportunities for a brighter future. Staff members support children not only by preparing and distributing meals but also by fostering their enthusiasm for attending school.

These two students recently enrolled at Machelecheta Primary School as new first graders, still adjusting to their new environment. Despite feeling overwhelmed, they find comfort in each other’s company and quietly observe the lively surroundings.

The excitement of receiving warm meals not only brings joy but also enriches the children’s hearts, symbolizing the impact of Seibo Maria’s meal program on their daily lives.

2. Blantyre District

Seibo’s school meal program directly impacts children’s health and happiness, evidenced by significant improvements in weight and height, supporting their growth and development effectively.

Combining young and elderly generations within the school committee is beneficial. Younger generations learn from the experiences and wisdom of their elders, ensuring sustainability through active participation in the program.

Securing nutritious meals through the school meal program not only meets basic needs but also motivates students to attend school more regularly. The sense of security provided by nutritious meals reduces concerns and enhances support for school initiatives.
