Activity Report-July 2025
Date:2025.08.15

Thanks to everyone’s generous support, we were able to deliver many school meals to children in Malawi in July. At the same time, awareness-raising and educational activities through coffee are spreading in Japan.
This report shares voices from the field of school meal support in Malawi, as well as updates on activities in Japan.

1. Graduation Ceremony of Children Supported by Seibo
One of the children supported by Seibo, who enrolled in Clever Kindergarten in 2023, graduated on July 24, 2025.
She is looking forward to starting first grade, but at the same time, she mentioned that she will miss Clever Kindergarten and the porridge she had every day provided by Seibo.

“Thanks to Seibo’s support program, my daughter speaks English well and can count very accurately. She has acquired a solid foundation and is ready to advance to first grade,” said the student’s mother proudly at the graduation ceremony.
This graduation is a testament to the long-term impact of Seibo’s educational program.

A strong foundation is essential for future leaders, and it all begins with early childhood education. These remarkable children confidently led the national anthem during a play themed on law, demonstrating discipline and self-assurance at a young age. (Photo: Mkwika Kindergarten)

Words from a Mother
“I am extremely happy and proud that my child has graduated from kindergarten and is ready for elementary school. As a mother with limited financial means, this milestone brings me immense joy. I could never have reached this point on my own. I am deeply grateful to Seibo for providing my child with free education and comprehensive support,” said one student’s mother with heartfelt gratitude.

3. Future Leaders Kindergarten

Warm breakfasts, like rikuni porridge, benefit not only healthy children but also those with disabilities. Thanks to school meals, all children start the day well-nourished and ready to learn.

Collaboration between the Seibo team and schools strengthens relationships and enables more effective, impactful programs.

In the kindergarten, careful attention is given to cooling the porridge before serving to ensure children can safely enjoy it and prevent accidents.

Porridge time is an irreplaceable moment filled with conversation, smiles, and laughter.
With each measurement, babies steadily gain weight and appear healthier—a clear sign of the positive effects of the school meal program.

“It is said that educating one girl educates an entire community, and ultimately, the nation.” Through this school meal program, Seibo has repeatedly supported education across Malawi.

Eating porridge brings peace to children’s hearts and nurtures caring and consideration for one another.
