Alone We Can Do Little, Together We Can Do So Much
Date:2017.04.03

On the 30th of March 2017 Seibo sent JPY 750,000 yen or USD 67,000 to
Malawi- the equivalent of 500,00 school meals- to fund school feeding from now until the end of July.
Thanks to the kindness of many we are able to ensure 14,333 children of nursery and
primary school age receive a hot meal at school for this period.

Together is how we work. Without you this would not have been possible.
Without your donation many of these children would not even go to school. Many
of these children would suffer malnutrition. Some would even die.

We are indebted to all who made this possible.
We thank our regular donors, both in Japan and overseas, for their
monthly donations- many who have traveled this journey since we
began just over one year ago on February 11th feeding a handful of under-5 kids.
in Southern Malawi

We also give thanks to the generous parishioners of St. Ignatius Church in Yotsuya, Tokyo, for their support and encouragement at last year’s Christmas Bazaar.

To all those people who turned up to Seibo events surrounding “Buy Malawi Day”
in March and sampled great coffee in return for a donation and to those who purchased our”Warm Hearts Coffee” – coffee with a cause- and in so doing provided support for local coffee growers as well as vital school meals for children- a big thank you. A great big thank you also to the over 100 people who attended the inaugural “Warm Hearts Charity Concert” in Tokyo- a big thank you also- and see you all again next year.

And to Mobal– a UK/Japan based telecoms company with a big heart- and their customers around the world who created, promoted, tested or bought the “Japan SIM Card” from whose trading income Seibo is the greatest beneficiary- keep up the great work and we thank you for your ongoing support and wish you continued success.
Together we are stronger and today you helped us prove that to the children of Malawi.

Thank you.
